Woke WNBA Wife Goes Ballistic On Biden

It’s frankly a travesty that a Russian prison is apparently necessary for the remarkably entitled WNBA star Brittany Griner to give even a modicum of credit to the United States for the unprecedented freedom that it offers its citizens.

After all, consider how she displayed her “gratitude” to the nation in 2020, a nation in which she has been overpaid for a sport that virtually no one watches.

“I honestly feel we should not play the national anthem during our season. I think we should take that much of a stand,” Griner asserted in 2020.

Well then.

Griner most certainly does not have to worry about the American anthem playing where she is now: A Russian prison.

Democrats did the BLM mob no favors by making crime a preferred career choice, as it’s clearly given more than one Democrat the mistaken belief that they are apparently above the law at all times in all places.

Thus, it comes as no surprise that Griner apparently believed she could openly transport hash oil, which contains the illegal substance of THC, through an airport in Moscow.

Much to Griner and BLM’s shock, she was arrested in Moscow for openly flouting strict Russian laws regarding drugs, which can carry a sentence of up to 10 years in prison.

And, despite openly hating on the United States, the WNBA start apparently believes that she is entitled to be personally transported out of Russia back to the United States, as evidenced by a letter dispatched to the White House on July 4.

“As I sit here in a Russian prison, alone with my thoughts and without the protection of my wife, family, friends, Olympic jersey, or any accomplishments, I’m terrified I might be here forever,” Griner began.

One can only hope that those “thoughts” include a semblance of accountability, especially in terms of ramping up the America-hating violence spewed by BLM.

“On the 4th of July, our family normally honors the service of those who fought for our freedom, including my father who is a Vietnam War Veteran,” Griner continued, “it hurts thinking about how I usually celebrate this day because freedom means something completely different to me this year.”

“Freedom means something completely different.” You don’t say …

After all, America permitted her the “freedom” to openly bash the nation while making hundreds of thousands, if not millions, not to mention the “freedom” to marry her wife, which would most definitely be disallowed in openly anti-LGBTQ Russia.

Despite Russia’s rather open stance on the LGBTQ community, Griner apparently has no issues taking millions in literal blood money during her “off season” from the WNBA.

Much in the same way that overpaid, undereducated thug LeBron James eagerly accepts millions from genocidal China while he openly threatens police doing their jobs in the United States.

Griner went as far as to claim she didn’t even bother to vote until 2020, though such a claim seems highly suspect … and all too convenient.

“Please do all you can to bring us home. I voted for the first time in 2020 and I voted for you. I believe in you. I still have so much good to do with my freedom that you can help restore,” Griner added.

Obama must be so offended. Then again, voting for Biden in 2020 was basically the same as voting for the ultimate America-hating Obama anyway, given all the hateful policies Biden has passed ever since he ascended to the Oval Office.

Predictably, National Security Council (NSC) spokeswoman Adrienne Watson declared that “the Russian Federation is wrongfully detaining Brittney Griner.”

Right.

“Wrongfully detaining” Griner for an offense that would even be illegal in the United States, as individuals are not permitted to transport marijuana across state lines.

Never mind transport marijuana in Russia.

In addition to Griner’s absurd sense of entitlement, her wife is apparently getting in on the action, as evidence from her ranting and raving on “CBS Mornings” to anchor Gayle King.

“It kills me every time that I write to her, and she’s asking, ‘Have you met with [Biden] yet?’ And I have to say no,” Cherelle declared.

Well, gee. That seems like off the charts entitlement.

As if the President of the United States, no matter how incompetent he is, should be at the beck and call of BLM advocates.

“So everything about this is a calculation for me because I have to walk the fine line of, you know, harm versus help when it comes to my wife right now,” Cherelle remarked, “so as much as I want to, you know, advocate for her and push for our government to do everything, I also have to take into account she’s in a position where she could be harmed also by any and everything I do.”

Perhaps Cherelle should stop right there, as her rather obvious sense of entitlement is already causing clear “harm” to the so-called “cause” of ensuring someone doesn’t face accountability for a crime they openly, and willingly, committed.

“And so it’s a thin line to walk, and initially I was told, you know, just – we’re going to try to reserve – you know, we’re going to try to handle this behind the scenes and let’s not raise her value and stay quiet. You know, I did that, and, respectfully, we’re over 140 days at this point. That does not work,” Cherelle declared.

Wow, a whole 140 days. Seems like Americans left in Afghanistan (ones who didn’t commit crimes) have suffered even longer.

But those families don’t get the opportunity to rant and rave on some PC show on lamestream media.

“And so I will not be quiet anymore,” Cherelle ranted, “I will find that balance of, you know, harm versus help in pushing our government to do everything that’s possible because being quiet, they are not moving, they are not doing anything. So my wife is struggling, and we have to help her.”

When are the woke ever “quiet?” And as far as the government “not doing anything,” well, they’re not doing anything to prevent remarkably serious national security threats, such as those posed by China, so what exactly does this woke WNBA wife expect?

“I still have not heard from him,” Cherelle raged, “and, honestly, it’s very disheartening.”

Uh, Griner’s letter was sent on July 4, and Cherelle is raging that by July 5 the president hasn’t responded.

While it’s well known that BLM and its advocates have neither self-control nor patience, never mind any sense of accountability, expecting a response in under 24 hours, in light of another mass shooting no less, really takes the cake as far as entitlement is concerned.

Frankly, what’s far more “disheartening” is Griner’s absolute rejection of the nation she now expects to bend over backwards to save her, considering how she has previously doubled down on her anti-America remarks.

“I’m going to protest regardless,” Griner proclaimed, “I’m not going to be out there for the national anthem. If the league continues to want to play it, that’s fine. It will be all season long, I’ll not be out there. I feel like more are going to probably do the same thing. I can only speak for myself.”

Well, keep on protesting then. Putin must be so proud.

Perhaps a recent comment posted online in response to Griner’s utter ingratitude put it best:

“Said the American citizen before taken into custody in foreign country. Karma is a dish best served cold.”

One can only hope that comment enters Griner’s “thoughts” as she spends time in a nation that doesn’t screw around when it comes to law and order, nor does it give out special “get out of free” jail cards based on skin color … or political allegiance.
