Chris Wallace Reevaluates Future At CNN

Remember Chris Wallace, the famed Fox News anchor who proudly announced his departure from the network after 18 years, only to go to … CNN?

The truth is, Wallace’s departure from Fox News to CNN shouldn’t be all that surprising, considering that some apparent magnetism of the left has been drawing him further from the right for quite some time.

After all, this Wallace is the same Wallace who memorably debated for Biden during one of the first presidential debates between Trump and Biden in the weeks leading up to the 2020 elections.

“I guess I’m debating you, not him,” Trump remarked at the time.

Well, now it looks like Wallace is left to debate his future at CNN, particularly after the abrupt departure of Jeff Zucker, ostensibly the only reason that Wallace was compelled to go to CNN in the first place.

Given Zucker’s complete fixation on Trump, as evidenced by the monotony of CNN’s content and its subsequent tanking in ratings, the connection between Zucker and Wallace is curious, to say the least.

Especially since Zucker convinced Wallace to walk away from one of the best positions on one of the most-watched networks for a job at … a flailing, perpetually sex scandal-ridden network.

Yeah. Perhaps Wallace didn’t make the most salient career move.

Which runs a tad contrary to his earlier proclamations regarding his stellar future at CNN.

“I am thrilled to join CNN+,” Wallace proclaimed, “After decades in broadcast and cable news, I am excited to explore the world of streaming. I look forward to the new freedom and flexibility streaming affords in interviewing major figures across the news landscape – and finding new ways to tell stories. As I embark on this adventure, I am honored and delighted to join Jeff Zucker and his great team. I can’t wait to get started.”

Well, unfortunately for Wallace, it appears that Zucker abruptly left his post at CNN before he even arrived.

So much for “joining Jeff Zucker and his great team.” More like joining the sinking ship of the Titanic, with how quickly the network is hemorrhaging its former major players.

Which is precisely why Wallace is reportedly annoyed.

“Chris is the type of person who makes it known if he doesn’t like something. He went over there for Zucker and now Zucker is gone,” an anonymous source informed The Radar.

So, Wallace formally left Fox News for … Zucker.

Boy, did he bet on the wrong horse there.

“Wallace feels that he has been stiffed. He’s got no staff, no Executive Producer and the guy he gave up a prized gig for has just walked out the door,” the source added.

Well, what exactly does Wallace expect from the left? Loyalty?

Given that Wallace has been around Fox News for 18 years, he surely has reported on the left effectively eating its own on more than one occasion, so why exactly did he think his particular treatment would be any different?

Because he intervened on behalf of Biden during the presidential debate?

Hardly.

The left can easily turn on a dime, oftentimes with violence. Or, in the case of CNN, oftentimes promoting violence, otherwise known as “peaceful” BLM protests in the CNN playbook.

The left also loves to use deceptive flattery to lure their intended targets to their objectives, which is precisely what Zucker did with Wallace.

“Zucker spun his magic to allay Chris’s concern about the pair, promising that his status as a ‘premiere journalist’ would not be compromised while working out of the D.C. bureau,” the source concluded.

Well, since Zucker’s entire career was just compromised, it should be no surprise that Wallace’s status as a “premiere journalist” is now compromised at CNN.
