Biden Threatens Return To “Normal Life”

Earlier this week, the Biden administration made a startling proclamation regarding the requirements for a return to normal life, namely that virtually every single American will need to receive the COVID vaccine in order to return to “normal” life.

Biden, in other words, has shifted the goals once more, and he did so in the midst of receiving his booster shot.

As Biden received his booster shot for COVID at the White House, which had been recommended due to the president’s age, a reporter inquired the total percentage of Americans that need to receive COVID vaccinations before normal life is able to resume.

Biden replied that as much as 98 percent of the nation needs to receive the vaccine, and that normal life will not resume provided that only 75 percent of the population remains vaccinated.

“I think we get the vast majority, like is going on in so many, some industries and some schools, 96, 96, 98 percent,” Biden proclaimed, adding that the vaccination rate “certainly” cannot remain at 75 percent alone.

“A quarter of [the nation] can’t go unvaccinated and us not continue to have a problem,” Biden continued.

Currently, the threshold for herd immunity, or the percentage of immunity within a population designed to slow the spread of certain viruses or diseases, remains unknown for COVID.

Despite several unknown factors, various public health experts, including Anthony Fauci, have continued revising various thresholds.

Fauci has also openly admitted to increasing his public predictions regarding herd immunity level thresholds regarding COVID, all in order to persuade more Americans to take the jab.

Last year, for reference, Fauci proclaimed that upwards of 60 to 70 percent of the American population would have to receive the COVID vaccine in order to acquire herd immunity. However, that forecast has been revised several times since his initial 60-70 percent estimate, and Fauci eventually informed the New York Times that upwards of 90 percent of Americans would have to be vaccinated in order to stave off the virus.

The New York Times also observed that Fauci openly admitted to revising his estimates in order to deceive the public, commenting that the public health expert has “acknowledged that he had slowly but deliberately been moving the goal posts.”

Fauci claims he is doing so “partly based on new science,” as well as “partly on his gut feeling that the country is finally ready to hear what he really thinks.”

To calculate the herd immunity threshold, it will be important to take into account the total percentage of the American population that has acquired natural immunity to COVID due to previous infection.

On his part, Fauci continues claiming he does not have a “really firm answer” regarding why individuals with natural immunity to COVID are expected to still receive the COVID vaccine, or why they are subjected to the Biden administration’s vaccine mandates.

Per the latest data released from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, approximately 55.4 percent of the entire U.S. population has become fully vaccinated against the COVID virus, which would include two-thirds of all American adults.
