White House Suffers Mass Exodus

President Joe Biden has just achieved another dubious distinction during his tenure as president: a mass exodus of staffers that far supersedes that of his predecessors.

Well over 80 staffers fled the White House during Biden’s first full year in office, per a report released by the White House itself.

According to the report, approximately 474 individuals are employed in the Executive Office of the President, though 16 individuals apparently do not receive a salary.

However, in 2021, the White House employed 560 individuals, including 41 individuals who served in unpaid positions.

In sharp contrast to the Biden White House, the Obama White House witnessed significantly less attrition amongst staffers.

In contrast, the Obama administration featured 485 staffers during the president’s first year in office. By the second year, 466 staffer remained, representing an attrition rate of only 19 staffers.

In other words, Biden’s staffer attrition rate is more than quadruple Obama’s, though the former still amazingly managed to achieve well over 80 million votes in the 2020 election.

However, both Biden and Obama pale in comparison to Trump, who apparently achieved much greater loyalty.

Per a report from the Washington Examiner, the Trump administration featured 377 individuals in 2017, representing significant cost savings to American taxpayers in terms of White House salaries.

Moreover, by 2018, Trump still retained 372 staffers, thereby achieving an attrition rate of only 5 individuals.

Consequently, Obama’s attrition rate was nearly quadruple and Biden’s attrition rate is a staggering 16 times larger than the “America First” President.
