Who could have imagined that the Taliban would be telling the United States what to do, less than 20 years before the anniversary of 9/11?
Then again, who could have imagined that tens of millions of Americans, not to mention most of the mainstream media, would openly support the candidacy of Biden in the first place, who was Osama bin Laden’s top choice to “run” the United States (into the ground)?
Now, as a result of feckless, leftist Americans and an even more feckless federal government, Taliban “spokesman” Suhail Shahee has become emboldened enough to order the United States government around, as evidenced by his immediate rebuke of Biden’s waffling on whether or not American troops will remain beyond August 31.
“President Biden announced that on 31 August they would withdraw all their military forces. So if they extend it that means they are extending occupation while there is no need for that … If the US or UK were to seek additional time to continue evacuations – the answer is no. Or there would be consequences. It will create mistrust between us. If they are intent on continuing the occupation it will provoke a reaction.” [Source: Breitbart]
So, now the Taliban is threatening the US with “consequences.” Thanks, Biden.
Plus, the Taliban is also openly threatening the UK, which is quite peeved over Biden’s behavior, to the extent that NATO is reevaluating the value (or lack thereof), not to mention trust, of current American presence, at least under the “leadership” of Biden.
Several days ago, British Parliament already voted to hold Biden in contempt.
That contempt is likely to become exacerbated by Biden’s joke of a National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan.
“As I said, we are engaging with the Taliban, consulting with the Taliban on every aspect of what’s happening in Kabul right now … We’ll continue those conversations with them. Ultimately it will be the president’s decision how this proceeds, no one else’s.” [Source: Fox News]
Aw, how sweet.
Trusting the Taliban is like trusting a shark around blood. As if the Taliban cares about “conversations” with a supposed superpower that not only gave away the nation, but provided them with the military equipment to do so.
American military equipment of that, another major blow to American taxpayers, otherwise known as people who have a real job outside of “protesting.”
On top of that, Sullivan apparently cannot be bothered to reveal “a precise number” of Americans that remain in Afghanistan.
Even worse, he appears to blame Americans themselves for not having “a precise number.”
“Many people have asked, reasonably, why we cannot provide a precise number of American citizens still in country … Let me explain. When Americans have come to Afghanistan over the years, we asked them to register with the embassy. Many have left without deregistering. Others never registered at all.” [Source: The Washington Examiner]
So, in other words, Americans are at fault, rather than the Biden administration? Is the supposed National Security Advisor really blaming the fiasco on Americans who “didn’t register?”
That’s the best he can do?
Senator Tom Cotton would surely do much better than that, given his open criticism of Biden’s disastrous behavior.
Plus, since Cotton actually does have military experience in Afghanistan, he clearly has more of a clue than wheeling and dealing Biden, not to mention his incredibly corrupt wheeling and dealing son (or “the smartest guy” Biden knows).
Which is precisely why Cotton has assailed Biden.
“I think that President Biden is timid and fearful of the Taliban. … I saw that the Secretary of state said yesterday that we have to accept the reality that the Taliban is in control of Kabul. We don’t have to accept that.” [Source: Breitbart]
No, we don’t, but an anti-American federal government apparently is just fine with “accepting that.”
Hey, Obama did claim Biden was “finishing the job” of his administration. No kidding.
Even the Communist News Network (CNN) has turned on their beloved Biden, given the recent commentary of Jeff Zeleny, the Chief National Affairs Correspondent at CNN, in reference to Biden’s apparent refusal to believe he’s enraged nearly the entire planet (literally … though China and Russia are thrilled).
“[Y]ou have to question — is the president insulated, isolated? On Friday, it was just almost bizarre … What he was saying did not match the reality of what some of his other advisers were saying …
What I was really struck by was … when he was asked about allies, essentially suggesting that allies are not upset at the U.S. or embittered by this. And it’s just not the case. I think this will be a very defining moment in the Biden presidency about what we learn of him as president, but it seems to me he’s a bit insulated or isolated inside the White House.” [Source: Breitbart]
What a shame CNN didn’t “question” all these issues before, considering Biden lived in his basement throughout his presidential “campaign.”
It also seems that CNN’s open criticism of Obama is raising very real fears regarding an imminent Kamala takeover …
