Republicans Respond To 2,000 Mules

Republicans are poised to take over the House during the 2022 midterm elections, and they have promised a slew of inquiries into the Biden administration’s skeptical dealings, as reported by Politico.

Specifically, the Republican lawmakers are preparing to examine several different issues related to the Biden administration, including the nefarious overseas dealings of the president’s son, Hunter.

GOP lawmakers also intend to reevaluate the abrupt withdrawal from Afghanistan, alongside the chaos at the U.S.-Mexico border.

However, Republicans will not be stopping with the White House, as they intend to scrutinize how the Democrats went about forming the January 6 Select Committee.

Politico also reported that Republicans were galvanized to uncover the real roots of the COVID pandemic.

While the midterm elections remain multiple months away, GOP lawmakers have already decided which committees are going to lead each investigation.

Republican lawmaker Steve Scalise, who is widely anticipated to be the majority leader ift he GOP takes back control of the house, noted that the Republicans would be “focused onholding the Biden administration accountable and getting answers.”

“It is going to be a lot of oversight,” Scalise added.

Representative Jim Jordan of also emphasized the importance of the American population knowing how and where the virus began, especially given the degree to which it upended countless people’s lives and businesses.

Jordan also expressed discontentment with the focus on

“The American people deserve to know where the virus started. The American people need to know the Justice Department is so political,” Jordan remarked, “[and] it’s treating moms and dads as domestic terrorists who show up at school board meetings.”

Various lawmakers have also watched the documentary film 2,000 Mules, which reveals that ballot mules may have played a powerful role in swinging the election in favor of Joe Biden in 2020.

Eleven Republican representatives sent a joint letter to the House Oversight and Reform Committee, requesting for hearings in order to “investigate the potential, illegal activities revealed in the documentary film 2,000 Mules.”

Should the claims in that film be investigated, Republicans are likely to pass even more legislation in the future to assure the integrity of elections.
