Massive Caravan Storms To Southern Border

Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) agents will apparently experience no relief whatsoever as the Biden administration’s ultra-lenient immigration policies continue to attract enormous masses of migrants seeking entry into the nation.

Approximately 1,500 miles south of the U.S.-Mexico border in Tapachula, Mexico, multiple organizers and activists are allegedly massing together tens of thousands of Central American and Haitian migrants. This enormous mass will apparently comprise the “mother of all caravans,” as indicated by a Border Report released earlier this week.

Furthermore, a video uploaded to Twitter reveals that the enormous caravan is set to depart for the United States in just a few days. Migrants may or may not arrive with “documents in hand.”

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) have given indications that they are aware of the impending surge of illegal migration. The organizations also added that they are taking precautionary steps to prepare for the surge, although they did not provide any specific information.

According to a CBP spokesperson, the agency generally “plans for all possible scenarios based off information on the operations of smugglers or the movements of migrants.”

“Our posture and response are based on comprehensive analysis, [rather than] any single report,” the spokesperson continued, adding that the agency is prepared “to address any potential increase in migrant encounters.”

In addition, the Texas DPS remains fully committed to the security of the U.S.-Mexico border.

“The department does not discuss operational specifics,” a spokesperson remarked, but the agency will continue to actively “monitor the situation as it unfolds … to make real-time decisions, [adjusting] operations as necessary.”

The reports of the monster caravan emerge just a few weeks after an enormous disaster played out across Del Rio, Texas. Just weeks ago, roughly 15,000 Haitian migrants gathered under a bridge, awaiting entry into the nation. Several migrants clashed with border agents, both on the ground and in the transportation buses.

During the Del Rio crisis, the federal government provided insufficient assistance, which resulted in Texas DPS deploying multiple thousands of state trooper and squad cars to the border area in order to create a barricade.

Thus far under the Biden administration, approximately 200,000 migrants cross the border each month. Tens of thousands of these migrants have been released directly into the United States, presumably with upcoming court dates.

The ongoing crisis at the border continues putting local populations and state officials at enormous risk.
