Lightfoot Loses It Over Clarence Thomas

Out of all the looney leftists masquerading as so-called “representatives” of the people, Lori Lightfoot has to be one of the most leftist out there.

The Mayor of Chicago, notorious for her demands to defund police while also demanding private security, has decided to focus her ire on none other than Justice Clarence Thomas for daring to do his job: interpret the Constitution.

And she took especially strong heat with Thomas’s interpretation of due process.

“The Court well explains why, under our substantive due process precedents, the purported right to abortion is not a form of ‘liberty’ protected by the Due Process Clause. Such a right is neither ‘deeply rooted in this Nation’s history and tradition nor ‘implicit in the concept of ordered liberty,’” Thomas wrote.

In other words, Thomas adheres to the original intent of the founding fathers.

Leftist lunatic Lightfoot?

… Not so much.

And Lightfoot became especially incensed upon reading the remainder of Thomas’s opinion, which justifiably pointed out other instances of clear Court overreach, at the expense of disregarding the Constitution.

“As I have previously explained, ‘substantive due process’ is an oxymoron that ‘lack[s] any basis in the Constitution … The Court today declines to disturb substantive due process jurisprudence generally or the doctrine’s application in other, specific contexts. Cases like Griswold v. Connecticut, (right of married persons to obtain contraceptives); Lawrence v. Texas, (right to engage in private, consensual sexual acts); and Obergefell v. Hodges (right to same-sex marriage), are not at issue,” Thomas wrote.

Clearly, Lightfoot needs a lesson in reading comprehension, as Thomas clearly wrote that the Court declines to disturb due process in other cases that pertain to birth control, marriage equality, and other such concerns.

Then again, how many skills in reading comprehension can realistically be expected of Lightfoot, given her rather ignoble response to his vastly more conservative writing?

“If you read Clarence Thomas’ concurrence …  f*** Clarence Thomas!” Lightfoot shrieked.

How eloquent. Looks like Lightfoot would blend right in with BLM, who are responsible for making Chicago even less inhabitable than usual.

And Lightfoot didn’t stop there, as she continued on her Twitter tirade, safe in the knowledge that she will never be censored given all the ideological check boxes she identifies with, from being a minority to being gay, clearly the most important attributes in the Biden White House.

Lightfoot herself has made color a huge issue, if not the only issue, of her so-called representation of the people, gaining acute notoriety for refusing to interview with any journalist who wasn’t “of color.”

Just start to imagine the reaction to a white representative that says he or she will only interview with white journalists … but apparently, reverse racism is not only accepted, but encouraged, amongst the leftists.

Though in the case of a conservative minority, like Justice Thomas, Lightfoot apparently goes especially psycho, not to mention threatening.

“If he thinks we are going to stand idly by while they take our rights …” Lightfoot continued ominously.

Or what, Lightfoot? What exactly are you going to do?

Then again, she’s already given insight into what she’d like to do, given her literal call to violence in a tweetissued on May 10, 2022.

“To my friends in the LGBTQ+ community – the Supreme Court is coming for us next,” she tweeted, in a clear reference to the Court’s decision to legalize same-sex marriage.

And despite the Court making no move to that effect at this juncture in time, Lightfoot just couldn’t resist getting violent.

“This moment has to be a call to arms … We will not surrender our rights without a fight – a fight to victory!” Lightfoot roared.

“A call to arms,” huh?

A rather ironic tweet, given the January 6 Committee’s fixation on the so-called violence encouraged by former President Trump.

Even more ironically, Trump has been permanently suspended from Twitter for no reason, whereas Lightfoot’s literal “call to arms” is still available for viewing more than a month later.

Says it all about Twitter’s so-called “priorities.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi isn’t much better, given her spouting off about the so-called “extremism” of the Supreme Court.

“While this extremist Supreme Court works to punish and control the American people, Democrats must continue our fight to expand freedom in America,” Pelosi intoned.

Given that Pelosi is all for endless lockdowns and effective house arrest of millions of innocent Americans, she has exactly zero room to talk about “punishing and controlling” the American people.

Though it doesn’t stop her from continuing to spread massive disinformation.

“It is clear from how Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell stacked the Supreme Court that elections have ramifications. It is essential that we protect and expand our pro-choice Majorities in the House and Senate in November so that we can eliminate the filibuster so that we can restore women’s fundamental rights – and freedom for every American,” Pelosi blared.

Yeah, yeah, Pelosi.

Save the useless rhetoric for your winery, procured from raiding the tax revenues of hardworking Americans.
