Abbott has had it!
From Democrat “lawmakers” illegally fleeing the state (on a non-environmentally friendly private jet) to illegals routinely storming the border, Abbott has dealt with a host of unfortunate circumstances that have magnified since Biden took over.
However, unfortunately for the pro-illegal “immigration” movement taking place among the left, Abbott has wisely decided to take advantage of law and order resources to deal with the crippling flow of migrants stampeding the border.
Starting with National Guard, who Abbott has authorized to arrest innumerable migrants who clearly have zero regard for the law.
In making an announcement, Abbott also pointedly implied that the state has received little assistance, or effectively zero assistance, in months from the Biden administration.
“Beginning on May 31, 2021, I have issued multiple proclamations certifying under Section 418.014 of the Texas Government Code that the surge of individuals unlawfully crossing the Texas-Mexico border poses an ongoing and imminent threat of disaster for certain counties and agencies in the State of Texas …
To respond to this disaster and secure the rule of law at our Southern border, more manpower is needed — in addition to the troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and soldiers from the Texas National Guard I have already deployed there — and DPS needs help in arresting those who are violating state law.” [Source: The Daily Wire]
Excellent.
Fortunately for Texans, Abbott calls it exactly like he sees it (Psaki, take note). Moreover, in the spirit of Trump, Abbott also follows through with action, rather than the Twitter word salad that constitutes much of the left’s ranting and raving.
After all, consider the following gem from Ms. AOC, who is formally known as one of the least effective members of Congress for a reason.
“We’re here to say that an agency like ICE, which repeatedly and systematically violates human rights, does not deserve a dime.” [Source: Breitbart]
Hm. Interesting commentary, Ms. AOC.
How about the illegal criminal organizations who really “violate human rights,” as in the ones currently exploiting a Biden-style border?
Nonetheless, since AOC insists on turning everything into a “Defund” movement of some kind, from “Defund Police” (which hasn’t worked out very well, to put it mildly) to “Defund ICE,” is anyone really surprised that hordes of illegals, some of which absolutely have ill intentions, have become more empowered than ever with Trump’s departure?
It appears that numerous illegals, in particular illegal criminal organizations filled with illegal “migrants,” have become a bit too empowered by the “Defund Police” mantra that has defined the Democrat party.
After all, if Democrats cannot be bothered to encourage the prosecution of violent criminals in the United States, it should come as no surprise that they are not terribly interested in illegals flooding the nation, regardless of their background.
Or, for that matter, regardless of their COVID status.
Ted Cruz, for instance, did not hold back in savaging the Biden administration over its utterly asinine approach to COVID-infested illegals, cleverly pointing out that the administration is not exactly following the “science” they proclaim to believe in, at least when it comes to illegal invasions.
“You better believe the rising COVID rates are due in significant part to illegal aliens that the Biden administration is releasing in Texas, that have COVID rates seven times higher than the U.S. population … And we need to stop being boneheaded and ignoring the science, which is what the administration is doing.” [Source: Breitbart]
Anyone notice a rather odd correlation between the “surge” of the Delta variant and the surge of illegals crossing the border?
In fact, closer contemplation reveals several troubling possibilities.
After all, the surge of illegal migrants undoubtedly shores up additional support for the Democrats, as they’ve clearly and justifiably lost significant support from Americans, particularly after their anti-police, anti-white, and generally anti-American tirade.
On top of that, a resurgence of the Delta variant has clearly given the Democrats “justification” for bullying the public back into masks, with the likes of leftist states like California reimplementing mask mandates even before the CDC changes its supposed “guidance.”
Most troublingly of all, the Delta variant could also further empower the Democrats to demand control of the voting process, just in time for the 2022 midterms … just as they did with the presidential elections in 2020.
Frightening times indeed …
