Cuomo Finally Sees His Days Of Reckoning, And It’s Not Pretty

Looks like the Cuomo brothers are finally getting the hint that the Communist News Network (CNN) can only aid and abet their abysmal behavior for so long.

After all, it was only last week that thousands upon thousands of pages revealed the extent of Chris Cuomo’s involvement with clearing Andrew Cuomo’s name.

Even though such involvement literally involved stalking other women who might dare to come forward and reveal that the former Governor of New York is not exactly the nicest guy in the world.

After all, what else is to be expected from someone who effectively turned his back on senior citizens by integrating COVID-positive individuals with others in assisted living and nursing home facilities?

However, it’s not like most of the public would be aware of former Governor Cuomo’s horrific treatment of New York’s senior citizens, as CNN was sure to lavish all kinds of praise on how wonderfully the governor handled the pandemic.

Rep. Elise Stefanik (NY) criticized the network’s coverage of Andrew Cuomo, which shamelessly empowered him.

However, nursing home scandals, not to mention massive, mask-less riots and all, apparently Cuomo was the embodiment of dealing with the COVID pandemic effectively, at least if one is to believe CNN.

Well, it looks like even CNN is realizing that quite a few people no longer have faith in the once-credible news network, which is precisely why CNN wisely fired Chris Cuomo after more evidence surfaced regarding his unholy alliance with his brother.

And now the network is engaging in a remarkably aggressive form of CYA.

“Chris Cuomo was suspended earlier this week pending further evaluation of new information that came to light about his involvement with his brother’s defense … We retained a respected law firm to conduct the review, and have terminated him, effective immediately …

While in the process of that review, additional information has come to light … Despite the termination, we will investigate as appropriate.” [Source: The Blaze]

One can only imagine what that “additional information might entail, considering how rapidly Cuomo was fired.”

Especially since the network is apparently continuing to investigate, which sounds awfully familiar … after all, more than one person has called for an ongoing investigation of Andrew Cuomo, especially with regards to the nursing home fatalities.

See what happens when leftist snowflakes like the Cuomo brothers feel invincible? Disaster.

However, perhaps now is a good opportunity to wipe the slate clean of Cuomo corruption, as advocated by Stefanik.

“[Chris Cuomo’s firing] is better late than never … [but] Kathy Hochul, the current governor of New York, needs to make sure that we completely clean house from the criminal cesspool and the corrupt cronies that supported Gov. Cuomo.” [Source: Newsmax]

While Hochul likely has her work cut out for her in this regard, incremental progress is being made towards the Cuomo brothers, who have long attracted the ire of conservatives.

For this reason, Stefanik emphasizes the importance of continuous accountability even in the face of a temporary victory via Chris Cuomo’s permanent firing.

“This should have happened a long time ago. I’m glad that CNN has taken this action. But there is still accountability that needs to be heard … There is a sitting head of the State University of New York who has been revealed as part of the efforts to retaliate against these women and was part of the criminal cover-up.” [Source: Newsmax]

One can only hope that additional accountability will continue …
