Buttigieg Shamelessly Plugs Electric Cars During Crisis

While the Biden administration has long been one of the most tone deaf in American history, it has really reached a new low with the shameless plugging of electric vehicles.

And of course, none other than useless Transportation Secretary, Pete Buttigieg, is one of the biggest proponents of electric vehicles, in spite of his preferred mode of transport via Cadillac Escalades (where he pretends to ride a bike afterwards).

“In our economy transportation is the single biggest contributor to climate change and is responsible for over 55% of nitrogen oxides, dangerous gases that can contribute to asthma and other respiratory diseases,” Buttigieg boomed, “so it also means transportation has to be a big part of the solution to the climate crisis and to air pollution.”

Thanks for an explanation a freshman in college could have given, Buttigieg. Next!

“Clean transportation can bring significant cost savings for the American people as well. Last month we announced a $5 billion investment to build out a nationwide electric vehicle charging network so that people from rural to urban to suburban communities can all benefit from the gas savings of driving an EV,” Buttigieg blared, even more mindlessly than before.

Oh right, of course, American families should just shell out more than $50,000 for an electric car, especially when they’re paying probably 30 to 50 percent for basic groceries.

What an utterly impractical solution, that could have only come from someone used to living off of other people’s money.

Of course, Vice President Kamala Harris had to join the electric car push, looking positively gleeful in doing so while the world suffers.

“Our transportation sector has reached a turning point. We are all in the midst of a turning point,” Harris declared, “we have the technology to transition to a zero-emission fleet. Our administration together, all of us, is working to make that possibility a reality.”

Yeah. Americans can see that the administration is working very hard to make a “zero-emission fleet.” Even if it means enriching Russia in order to elevate gas prices here and encourage such “electric car” usage.

“We can clean our air and protect the health of our children. We can connect all our communities for affordable, accessible, and reliable public transportation. We can address the climate crisis and grow our economy at the same time,” Harris preened.

What is she smoking? Whatever it is, clearly actual workers need some of that, as only someone totally and completely checked out from reality on every level could make remarks as absurd as Kamala’s.

On top of that, during Biden’s so-called assurances for the nation yesterday, the so-called leader of the “free world” was sure to plug electric cars as well, thereby representing a trifecta that shamelessly pumps electric cars with Chinese-made batteries, all in order to save an environment that may be decimated by nuclear war.

Rep. Markwayne Mullin was certainly unimpressed by the shameless electric car push.

“Vice President Kamala Harris and DOT Secretary Pete Buttigieg spent the afternoon promoting electric vehicles and Green New Deal policies. Are you kidding me? The Biden Administration could not be more tone deaf,” Mullin exclaimed.

You don’t say.

Senator Ted Cruz summed up the trifecta of idiocy even more concisely.

“Tell me you’re a liberal elite without telling me you’re a liberal elite.”

Right now, the last thing the world needs is more liberal elites …

The future of humanity may literally depend on it.
