John Durham, who was appointed by Attorney General Bill Barr to serve as Special Counsel, has apparently uncovered a variety of “seditious” actions that underpinned the deliberately constructed political narrative designed to destroy Trump’s political ambitions.
Barr, who served as Trump’s General Attorney, remarked that the entire Russiagate hoax “was a grave injustice” during an appearance on Glenn Beck’s podcast.
“It appears to be a dirty political trick too,” Barr continued, “used first to hobble [Trump], then potentially to drive him from office.”
Durham’s special investigation, which seeks to uncover the nefarious origins of widespread media reports alleging Russian collusion with the Trump administration, has determined significant involvement from actors in Clinton’s camp, all of whom had a vested interest in spinning a “narrative” against the Trump team.
“I believe it is seditious, yes,” Barr noted grimly.
“Whether that can be proved in court as a crime is one issue,” Barr continued, in clear reference to Clinton’s ironclad grip on multiple American institutions, “but I think people are now coming to see what actually happened.”
What actually happened, according to Barr, is “a gross injustice [that] hurt the United States in many ways.”
These ramifications also extend to Ukraine, given that widespread, and ultimately false, rumors regarding Trump’s supposed collusion with Russia, with Barr noting that the hoax “distorted our foreign policy.”
“I felt that the president was not getting his due as president,” Barr mused, “he was entitled, having won the election, to implement his administration, and they worked, they had him on the ropes.”
Barr also reflected upon the media’s treatment of Supreme Court justice Brett Kavanaugh, who was assailed by the press for sexual assault allegations that had also been doctored by special Democrat interests, noting that the level of “savagery” was deeply appalling to many.
“The system had a double standard, still has a double standard and is rigged against Republicans,” Barr concluded.
