If Obama’s “Ethics Chief” is speaking out publicly about Hunter Biden, then it is safe to say that Mr. Hunter has yet again been caught in a monstrous trap of his own making.
It appears that Hunter is quite the opportunist these days, especially ever since Obama took over the United States and put Biden in a national spotlight.
After all, he has gone from sitting on a Ukrainian energy board and “investing” in shady Chinese equity companies (which he apparently still does) and doing who knows what else internationally … to painting art domestically.
All well and good, if it’s art therapy that likely anyone could benefit from these days, especially with Biden at the helm.
Unfortunately, since Biden is at the helm, Hunter has apparently found a new way to peddle influence … selling his artwork at absolutely astronomical prices.
Apparently, this type of influence-peddling is so brazen that the aforementioned Ethics Chief who served under Obama, Walter Shaub, has openly called it out.
“So instead of disclosing who is paying outrageous sums for Hunter Biden’s artwork so that we could monitor whether the purchasers are gaining access to government, the WH tried to make sure we will never know who they are … That’s very disappointing.”[Source: Fox News]
“Very disappointing” is the nicest way to put it. “Very dangerous” is likely the more accurate way to put it.
Which Shaub also continues on to detail.
“The idea’s that even Hunter won’t know, but the WH has outsourced government ethics to a private art dealer … We’re supposed to trust a merchant in an industry that’s fertile ground for money laundering, as well as unknown buyers who could tell Hunter or WH officials? No thanks.” [Source: Fox News]
Well then. That’s saying … quite a bit.
Hunter has already developed a long, industrious “career” that appears to primarily consist of marketing his family’s last name, shamelessly exploiting his swamp privilege for all its worth.
Unfortunately, such shameless influence peddling has likely come at a grave detriment to national security, from his shenanigans in Ukraine to his truly disturbing, ongoing involvement in China.
On top of that, Hunter was sure to release a (likely) ghostwritten memoir shortly after his father assumed office, wherein he recalled the pleasures he would enjoy outside of influence peddling, including smoking parmesan cheese, which was apparently mistaken for narcotics.
Apparently, this parmesan cheese smoking incident occurred during one of Hunter’s more debauches moments.
Oh, and let us not forget the rather brazen usage of the “n-word” in repeated text messages, particularly since it is directed at his own lawyer.
Here’s one gem from Hunter’s frightening texts, in case you missed that gem in the news:
“How much money do I owe you … Because [sic] n—a you better not be charging me Hennessy rates.”[Source: The New York Post]
Classy guy …
Perhaps Biden should start with his own family before he begins to lecture the rest of the United States about their “white privilege.”
Then again, since Biden didn’t even bother to address Hunter’s messages, it is safe to say that re-prioritization is not likely to happen anytime soon.
After all, notice how quickly the little media furor that barely existed in the first place promptly died down?
However, to be fair to Biden, at least no media reports have surfaced of him flatout denying the reality of Hunter’s behaviors and communication styles. Then again, perhaps he already knows he has totally protected, “privileged” status within the realms of fictional news media.
Regardless, that been any of Trump’s children, the fictional news media would probably still drone on about it more than 50 years later, considering they continue to drone on about Trump to this day (if anything, to boost their wildly ailing ratings, which will likely continue to nosedive into oblivion).
Needless to say, neither Trump nor his family nor anyone peripherally related to Trump would know what media privilege is like.
However, Americans have long since wised up to the terrible trifecta of media, Democrats, and big tech, and one can only hope that they wise up enough to wipe out the whole lot of leftists eligible for re-election in 2022.
Not to mention Obama 2.0 (either Harris or Biden) in 2024 …
